Aro Digital is on the lookout for New Zealand's very best sunrise and sunset photos! Each year, we ask NZ - whatchu got? 😉

And every year - you deliver!!! We have had THOUSANDS of jaw dropping images submitted, all in the name of making the internet a brighter and better place 🌇

Our team picks our finalists (we love this bit!) - and present them back to you to vote for the winners!

Why do we do this?

Of course, we do love looking at beautiful submissions from talented people, but it is a little bit more than that. If you look through our past submissions, you'll notice a trend among a lot of the photos - most, if not all, are taken of nature.

Filling our taha whenua and taha wairua cups is really important for our mental and spiritual well being. Especially during some of the darkest days of the year when winter blues can get people down, walking down the beach or through the bush can go a long way to reconnecting us with nature (and improve our mental wellbeing).

We hope that these photos from people around Aotearoa will help inspire people to reconnect with nature, whether it's to get creative, or just to enjoy this beautiful place we live in.

The bonus? We get to make the internet a little brighter 🌞

How we use the images

We will use the finalists images on our documents/website/couple of other spots with embedded artist’s credit. We’ll also promote your work across our social media platforms, and give you a shout out wherever we use it.
(If there are any other images submitted that we're keen to use - we'll get in contact with the person who submitted it to ask for permission)
